My dad always loved photography; he had a Minolta that he used to chronicle the activities of our family. Our entire extended family would wait in anticipation for the yearly slideshow that he orchestrated.

In college he gave me his camera and I began to explore the beauty of black and white photography. I grew to love the experience of developing my own film and I lived in the darkroom. I took a course through Nikon USA and my eyes were opened to the possibilities!

After college, I took a job that focused on my graphic design skills at Sodexo in Gaithersburg, Maryland. While I worked there I became a liaison for the Creative Services Department and then the National Accounts team.

I married a wonderful and supportive husband who inspires me to stay creative. After having our second child, I decided to make a major change and become a stay-at-home mom. It is the hardest job I've ever had and I love it. To keep my creativity senses stimulated I started focusing on real estate photography, which gives me the opportunity to meet new people, see beautiful homes and focus on something I love.

I have a Bachelors of Art in Studio Art with a concentration in Graphic Design. I attended George Mason University where I received an award for Academic and Artistic Excellence.
